Conference sessions and meals will be held at Metropolitan State University, located at 403 Maria Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55106.

TRAVEL INFORMATION:

Out-of-town attendees can conveniently reach Metropolitan State University by air, train, or car.  

Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP), located approximately 20 minutes from campus, offers numerous ground transportation options, including rideshare services, taxis, rental cars, and regional transit connections.

Amtrak offers direct daily rail service between Chicago and Saint Paul via the Borealis and Empire Builder routes. Both trains arrive at Saint Paul Union Depot, located approximately one mile from Metropolitan State University. The Borealis provides a convenient daytime schedule between Chicago and Saint Paul, while the Empire Builder offers service for travelers connecting from destinations throughout the northern United States. 

For those driving, the Saint Paul campus is easily accessible from major interstate highways and offers on-campus parking adjacent to the conference venue.

On Friday evening, please consider joining us for an optional guided tour of Saint Paul Union Depot, one of the city’s most iconic historic landmarks. Participants will learn about the station’s architecture, its role in shaping the economic growth of the Upper Midwest through the railroad industry, and the impact of its award-winning renovation and revitalization. This engaging tour offers a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of history, transportation, urban development, and economic change over the past century.
